Hi all. We have created this page for those of you who have asked us to keep you updated on our 6 weeks across the USA.
Vanessa, Mackenzie, Wayne and Trevor all thank you for your best wishes and hope that we can keep you entertained with our adventures from our departure on Saturday the 31st July, until our return to Perth on Sunday the 12th of September.
A special vote of thanks to Dave and Greg who are housesitting for us and keeping an eye on the menagerie. We will miss really Harry, Memphy and Belle!!! Oh and Ocky too!!!
A brief outline of our trip to start. We arrive in LA on Sunday the 1st Aug at 7am. A midday flight on Southwest to Las Vegas follows before 7 nights at the Luxor. Stayed there before and have never had a problem, so hoping that continues!!
We then drive down to Vanessa's Mums for Mackenzie to celebrate her 3rd birthday with the "Outlaws". Trevor and Wayne then head off on a 16 night roadtrip up through the National Parks of the West whilst Vanessa and Mackenzie spend some precious quality time with Maxine and Larry. We all meet up back in Vegas before the whole tribe descends on Walt Disney World in Orlando FL for 10 days at Disneys Animal Kingdom Lodge. On arriving back in Vegas, we spend 2 nights at the Excalibur before departing the States on Fri 10th for an arrival back in Perth on Sunday the 12th Sep.
Anyone who has been to the States would be aware of the array of different attractions that America has to offer....both manmade and natural. Having family there certainly enhances the travel experience for us. Hopefully you will enjoy our updates as we hit the US again (or for the first time in Trev's case!!!).
